Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Explorer Edition

Uncharted 3 was released in several different editions, which varies by region – WE had an opportunity to get our hands on the European Explorer Edition. This package holds tons of extras, such as the really unique Special Edition.

WE don’t used to write about the outer box, but this time need to mention that it looks very nice, it has a pleasant touch, where both sides are decorated with beautiful artworks. The wooden chest is also a high-quality item, which is authentic and has a cool paintjob and leather strips. 19 Blu-ray cases can be stored in this box.

After opening the chest you can get your hands on the Special Edition game. It comes with a plastic protector and looks like a journal; it is a remarkable item, because of its velvety touch surface and gold-colored embossed captions. Inside you can see different artworks; on the last page you will find the game disc, the manual, and the redeem codes for downloadable contents (multiplayer benefits and weapon upgrades).

The wooden chest also includes a 3D lenticular artwork, the perfect replica of Drake’s buckle belt and necklace – both items are awesome, and their quality is also top of the class. The last element of the package is the premium Drake figurine. It’s true that the main character’s face is not exactly the same as the game’s protagonist, but the other parts are elaborated well.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Explorer Edition is this year’s best special release so far. It has interesting and valuable contents, where the overall quality is also excellent.
