It’s hard to believe but Duke Nukem Forever has been finally released. The publisher celebrated this moment with a Collector’s Edition, named Balls of Steel Edition. Our expectations based on available information about the package were very low, but final impression was positive.
The box is made of thick cardboard with a small display window on the front, so you can take a close look at the Duke statue before unboxing. At first you will find the mini card deck, two six-sided dice and a two pieces of poker chips – both items have average quality. The collectible bust of Duke Nukem is protected with a plastic protector. The statue itself is well-designed, its weight is just right and it looks good on the collector’s shelf.
The package contains a numbered limited edition certificate of authenticity, a paper craft, a radioactive emblem sticker and a postcard set. In addition to the comic book you can find a 100 page hardcover art book, which shows nice artworks form the past 14 years of development; quality of the paper and contents are superb. As the last item of the box you can find the standard edition game.
