Alan Wake Limited Collector’s Edition

Finally the long-awaited Alan Wake hits the stores today and WE are celebrating with the purchase of a Limited Collector’s Edition. The game’s main character is a writer, which inspired the design of this release. Every content is held in a book-shaped container that is protected by a durable slipcase. After opening the “book” you can notice Alan Wake’s signature on the first page; this small thing is just boosting the first impression.

Inside the box you can find the game itself, a book named “The Alan Wake Files” and a shiny paper case with a bonus disc and a Soundtrack CD. The bonus DVD is full of extras such as developer interviews, dashboard themes, gamer pictures and exclusive Xbox Live avatar items. The Alan Wake Files is not just a regular artwork booklet; it’s a real 130-paged, hard-covered book, which is good enough to be sold separately. This unique and well-designed extra makes the introduced CE a really valuable release.

WE are really satisfied with the Alan Wake Limited Collector’s Edition. Both the quantity and the quality of items are above average and every extra fits the game’s theme.
